M.S.G Weapons - June/July Announcement & Released 2025

It’s been a while since Kotobukiya has announced such impressive Sci-Fi weapons! Among the latest releases, the Weapon Unit 53 Stride Launcher and especially the Unit 58 Link Missile stand out as the most exciting. Kotobukiya hasn’t produced many missile pod designs in recent years, so these new releases are a welcome treat. In fact, the Unit 58 Link Missile design closely resembles the Gundam F90 Mission Pack B type.

Price Increase! Gigantic Arms Recolour Rapid Raider and Split Lucifer’s Wing in Two.

Kotobukiya announced the recolour version of Rapid Raider [Slash Violet Ver.] and split Lucifer’s Wing into two releases known as GA08 Dark Bird and GA09 Bicorn. What concerns me is the asking price for GA08 Dark Bird and GA09 Bicorn is double compared to Lucifer’s Wing set alone. Not only that, the new price for the two combined is almost the same as the Amazon JP exclusive version of Gigantic Arms 07EX Crimson Wing & Frame Arms Girl Stylet.

It is unknown for now whether GA07 Lucifer’s Wing will be discontinued or planned for reissue in the future, and probably comes with new pricing. But if you plan to get them, either stick for the previously released GA07/07EX if any online shop still selling or wait until discounted price for the two (*GA 08/09). So far Rapid Raider [Slash Violet Ver.] only hit a 400 YEN increase.

M.S.G Mecha Supply 25: Expansion Armor Type H

The concept is "Let's create your favourite armour!" With a large, medium and small armour plate that can be recombined and a large number of extended armour parts that can decorate the plate, you can make your own armour and make a mecha coupler model / bishoujo plastic model. You can customize it to your liking!

Gimmick

• There are large, medium and small armour plates, and it is possible to connect the edges of each plate to each other with a concave connection expansion attachment to make various shapes.
• There is a 3mm hole on the backside of the armour plate, and you can connect to other kits using a shaft with the same diameter.
• It is possible to change the shape by attaching a large number of extended armour parts to the 3 mm hole on the plate surface.
• A total of 4 types of extended armour parts are included.
• Comes with a military-like "armour panel", a "wedge-shaped explosive reaction armour" that can increase the volume by three-dimensional modelling, a "heat sink" that increases the amount of information, and a "hook" that can be suspended if the thickness matches. ..
• It is possible to create various armour in combination.
• Connection There are multiple shapes for the expansion attachment, and it is basically a concave type, and there are 3mm shafts, 3mm holes, flat objects, etc. on the backside. Since it is a specification that connects by sandwiching the edge of the armor plate with a concave attachment, it is possible to create changes in shape such as attaching by partially shifting.
• Molding colour is two colours grey and silver. The backside of the 3mm axis of the joint is a minus mold, and by putting it on the front side of the armour plate, it can also be used as a silver mechanical detail expression.

M.S.G Heavy Weapon 33: Exceed Binder 2

 

A kit of interconnected clear armour units is joining the Heavy Weapon Unit series!

The concept of this product is to create clear articulated wing armour perfect for character models.

The parts can be assembled in a variety of different combinations such as the beautiful “wing mode” with a sharp silhouette, or “defence mode” as a body-length shield, and can be used to create unique customizations with other kits.

The armour parts are clear blue, and the internal mecha frame is silver. The clear colour of the armour gives users a glimpse of the silver frame inside for a beautiful finish on this Heavy Weapon Unit.

Heavy Weapon Unit 29 - Action Kunckle Type-B

HEAVY WEAPON UNIT29 ACTION KNUCKLE TYPE-B joins the popular HEAVY WEAPON UNIT series!

• The concept of the Action Knuckle is hand parts that can do “intense action”!
• This is a knuckle-type Heavy Weapon Unit where each of the fingers is flexible.
• Type-B was designed with close combat in mind and includes two types: “Standard Hands” and “Close Combat Hands”.
• The knuckle guard on the Close Combat Hands can be adjusted.
• The parts use 3mm connection joints to mainly attach to the Hexa Gear Bulkarm series, but are also compatible with other models in the Frame Arms series.

Heavy Weapon Unit 28 - Action Kunckle Type-A

M.S.G: Heavy Weapon Unit 26 - Wheel Grinder

Introducing a new unique item using “wheels” as a concept for the popular HEAVY WEAPON UNIT series: HEAVY WEAPON UNIT26 WHEEL GRINDER.

Users can enjoy this item in various ways depending on the assembly in its original form “Wheel Grinder.” Also, there is a special feature to this unit due to the structure of the inner gear inside the large wheel part where if the wheel is turned in one direction, an inner blade will pop out. If two sets are used, it can be attached to other products such as Frame Arms and Hexa Gear as “Wheel Leg Units.”

Introducing a new Heavy Weapon Unit that has inherited the concept of the “legendary sword” from the best seller M.S.G. WEAPON UNIT06 SAMURAI MASTER SWORD: HEAVY WEAPON UNIT25 KNIGHT MASTER SWORD.

Users can enjoy reenacting situations of characters pulling the legendary sword out of its exclusive pedestal. Having models just holding the sword will also bring more personality to the character!

From its Large Sword Mode, the “Knight Master Sword” sheathed inside can be drawn separately or transformed and used as “Knight Master Shield.”

M.S.G: Mecha Supply 22 - Expansion Armor Type E

A new EXPANSION ARMOR from the popular MECHA SUPPLY series now comes in an all-new skirt armor design.

This item fits perfectly with bishoujo-style plastic models such as Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device. By just attaching the armor, the dual-color white and clear blue color sculpt brightens the overall look of any given plastic model.

The armor parts use 3mm connections so users can not only just remove each individual armor piece, but can also remove the clear parts and use them separately.

Gigantic Arms - Omega Reactor (Official Images)

The official Gigantic Arms - Omega Reactor images are now live giving us more insight into the playability. The glass tank height can be extended by adding more storage rings which you require to buy separately for 800 YEN. The retail release for next year going to be April 2020 for 3,800 YEN. Oh wait, there's a mic!

M.S.G: Weapon Unit 07 Twin Link Magnum

Weapon Unit 07 Double Submachine Gun (discontinued) will be lined up with Twin Link Magnum that combines two types of handguns into a single gun. The magazine can be removed. Two types of muzzle parts to be used when coalescing are included so you can play with your favorite shape.

Product specifications

• By combining two types of handguns, A-type, and B type, it becomes a basic form of twin link magnum.
• Two types of muzzle parts are included when uniting, and you can choose your favorite shape.
• The A-type and B type handguns can each have their magazines removed, and the B type can be enjoyed as a bayonet with the attached combat knife if rail parts are used. Combat knives can be used in products such as Frame Arms and Frame Arms Girl.

Gigantic Arms: Strike Serpent

It can be recombined from the vehicle mode in the image of the sea dragon to the combined form with the optional Gigantic Arms order cradle.

The large missile container is equipped with a cover deployment gimmick and can be used in combination with HexaGear or optional Gigantic Arms.The bellows block that composes the serpent head has speaker-like details by opening and closing the cover, and can be used for various purposes. The base of the bellows block uses a movable shaft and a ball joint to give a flexible expression.

The large booster unit has a hexagram system for connection and can be freely customized by attaching it to a Hexa Gear.

Product specifications
■ The bellows block that makes up the neck of the serpent head is divided into six sections, allowing infinite connections using multiple sets. Also, by opening and closing the external armor, the internal speaker details can be exposed and used as a live model.
■ Serpent head connection is a 5mm ball joint that can be attached to some products of the HexaGear series.
■ Serpent head can be connected at the mouth using special parts.
■ Large missile container can reproduce the time of missile use by opening and closing the cover.

It can be recombined from the vehicle mode in the image of a large fish to the Gigantic Arms order cradle sold separately.
