The second release of VFS-02 Garudagear Diablo finally has been announced in December for retail of 8,000 YEN. HLJ will be selling for 6,800 YEN. I plan to get it next year for review when there is a discount. I really dislike how Kotobukiya packs their model kits and overuse the size of the box so I want to save as much as possible on the shipping fee. For the other model kit news recap, the new Megami Device: Chaos & Pretty QUEEN OF HEARTS has been announced with a price of 7,200 JPY and is scheduled to release on December 2023. Another new model kit to be released in the same month is the Muv-Luv Alternative Fubuki Imperial Japanese Army priced at 7,310 JPY. Due to the hefty price, I will wait for a significant discount before jumping in.

VFS 01 Garudagear (BELUGA) Released and Muv-Luv Getting BETA Armies!

Woohoo!!! Variable Frame System 01 - Garudagear (BELUGA)  is now available at Japanese retail starting yesterday. I was hoping it could delay until next month before HLJ charged my credit card, damn, there's no way to escape it.👺

Anyway, Kotobukiya announced the two latest model kits, Takemikazuchi Type-00F Tsukuyomimanaki (3,300 YEN) and Shiranui Isumi Valkyries Full Option Set (7,500 YEN) released in November. Surprisingly, Kotobukiya also announces BETA armies will be joining the game and giving the Muv-Luv fans the opportunity to build armies. There will be two classes available for now, BETA Tank Class (4 SET) and Grappler Class.

It sure took Kotobukiya very long to bring out VFS 01 - Garudagear Belugda [Beluga] into the market. Good news folk! This one is coming next year and is scheduled to release in May 2022. The model kits really look promising but they are asking for 6,800 YEN! 🤯

Hobby Search is asking for 6,120 YEN and if you shop at Ami-Ami, the price will be 5,580 YEN. HLJ will be selling 5,780 YEN.
