VFS 01 Garudagear (BELUGA) Released and Muv-Luv Getting BETA Armies!

Woohoo!!! Variable Frame System 01 - Garudagear (BELUGA) is now available at Japanese retail starting yesterday. I was hoping it could delay until next month before HLJ charged my credit card, damn, there's no way to escape it.👺

Anyway, Kotobukiya announced the two latest model kits, Takemikazuchi Type-00F Tsukuyomimanaki (3,300 YEN) and Shiranui Isumi Valkyries Full Option Set (7,500 YEN) released in November. Surprisingly, Kotobukiya also announces BETA armies will be joining the game and giving the Muv-Luv fans the opportunity to build armies. There will be two classes available for now, BETA Tank Class (4 SET) and Grappler Class.

Muv-Luv - Shiranui Second Tarisa Manandal Ki Ver.1.5

This unit has been made in its characteristic colours, with the eyes and illuminated areas recreated with clear parts. Decals for the shoulder markings are also included. Users can recreate a finish that is close to SHIRANUI SECOND TARISA MANANDAL KI by just assembling the model.

It is to be released in September 2022 for 6,300 YEN.

Features:

The chest parts have been changed to match the Shiranui Type 1 for a wider range of movement, allowing for more dynamic posing.
The included Mount Pylons are the same type as those on TAKEMIKADUCHI TYPE-00R Ver.1.5, which allows weapons to fire backwards.
The Type-87 Assault Cannon and Type-74 PB Blade have been updated and are the same type as those included with TAKEMIKADUCHI TYPE-00R Ver.1.5.
The Assault Cannon has two magazines that can be removed and assembled into a Support Assault, Cannon.
The markings for this model are included as decals.
This model is also compatible with all types of flying bases, sold separately, so users can recreate a variety of dynamic poses.

Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse - Shiranui Second Yuya Bridges Ki Version 1.5

The Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse, Shiranui Second Yuya Bridges Ki plastic model lineup comes with an updated version 1.5! Both F-22A Raptor Infinities and F-15 ACTV Active Eagle (Muv-Luv) are getting reissued as well and are to be released together in August 2022.

Hate to say this, last year's new Muv-Luv Alternative anime is disappointed to me. The first episode is great and then, the rest is over for me. I didn't even know the anime is getting a second season in October. No wonder Kotobukiya is reissuing the model kits.

Muv-Luv Alternative - Shiranui Imperial Japanese Army Full Option Set

From the popular game Muv-Luv Alternative, Kotobukiya presents the SHIRANUI IMPERIAL JAPANESE ARMY FULL OPTION SET!

By combining the weapons and armour from this option set with TAKEMIKADUCHI TYPE-00R Ver.1.5, users can recreate all of the Shiranui models besides the standard features.

Model Specifications:

This kit includes the same back weapon mounts as TAKEMIKADUCHI TYPE-00R Ver.1.5.
This kit includes the same “Type-87 Assault Cannon” and “Type-74 PB Blade” as TAKEMIKADUCHI TYPE-00R Ver.1.5.
The two types of magazines on the Assault Cannon can not only just be removed, but the weapon itself can be reassembled into a Support Assault, Cannon.
This kit includes the “Type-92 Autonomous Multi-Purpose Missile System”.
The bottom part of the shield, “Type-92 Supplemental Armor”, can be adjusted without exchanging parts.
The kit includes a variety of decals for markings including those from Captain Sagiri Naoya’s model and the Wardog Squadron model that appears in Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After.
