Kotobukiya never showcases the Frame Arms cockpit design when they first released their original model kit back in the year 2009. It was only then revealed in the doujin WINDFALL 2011 Frame Arms Variation (R:W 08/09) design artbook by Yanase Takayuki.
You should consider this is an unofficial design for the Kotobukiya Frame Arms series. But still, Yanase Takayuki is the original mechanical designer for Gourai and Stylet, so without a doubt that this is the originally intended cockpit interior and exterior design listed inside his artbook.
"Stylet cockpit hatch open (*Top pic)The second cockpit design was also revealed and introduced in the official Kotobukiya World Guidance Extra book (found in Frame Arms Versus Set). The cockpit looks entirely different and more futuristic feature. Funny thing is it was designed by Kyoryu Kuramochi, not Yanase Takayuki himself. So I need to find a way to obtain his doujin R:W 15 to find out more about his original mechanical design for Frame Arms Baselard.
I thought about setting up a common cockpit block for both architects and Gourai. Therefore, there are exterior hatches and interior hatches."

At the time of this visualization, the cockpit and pilot suit was designed in Zelfikar (Baselard). It was prepared because the pilot point of view was required in the initial production plot, but it has not appeared on the screen of the completed version due to the change in production. The cockpit has a drum-shaped compact design, taking into consideration the FA's size and the Baselard's fuselage structure, where propulsion is concentrated. Always wondered what the cockpits looked like. Nice to have a look inside the frame finally!
