Frame Arms Mechanic: Type 34 Model 1 - Jinrai

[OEM SPECIFICATION]
Type 34 Model 1 - Jinrai is a modified lightweight close-combat version from damaged Type-32 Gourai. It does not have a Tank Thread Driving System and the robust armored was stripped down, changing its armor position and omitting some parts, etc. Due to poor evaluation, it has a peaky performance as a land unit at the time of CC211, so most of the Jinrai distributed were customized according to the characteristics of the boarding pilot, and all of the results were finished as separate machines.

[HISTORY]
Cloud Century September 211, the Moon Camp invaded the Earth using Frame Architect type known as (ANT) before it began introduce the full-scale own made Frame Arms NSG-12a Cobold. The consumption rate on the earth's side was visibly increased as a result, and the front line combat capability was about to fall into a serious shortage. In particular, while there was an urgent need to replenish the core FA, the factory had begun to show signs of repairing, rebuilding and operating its own FA that had broken down. This situation has led to the creation of numerous on-site refurbishment machines, and among them, there are some machines that have a particularly strange history.

A lightweight Frame Arms, based on Type 32 Gourai has a minimum necessary function as a combat unit, such as removing armor from multiple damaged Gourai, changing armor position and omitting some parts, etc. The concept was to reuse the damaged machines and prioritized securing the number of heads by saving parts rather than individual performance. The pilots' reaction to the completed lightweight Gourai was chilling, seeing the loss in mobility without Tank Thread Driving System including its robust armored being stripped down and poorly evaluated. However, the lightweight Gourai proved to be overwhelming success during the first launched operation. Its lightweight result pushes the movement performance and overcomes its enemy in an unexpected direction. The impact in the battle brought an opportunity for new tactics to the ground for the Earth Defense Agency. In response to the results of the battle, the Earth Defense Agency hastily ordered the spot production of the machines as a variant of the system, and the name was changed to "Type 34 Model 1 - Jinrai"

[NOTES]
  • It is also known as lightweight Gourai before changing the name to Jinrai.
  • Most of the Jinrai distributed in battles was customized based on pilot characteristics and has a different appearance.

[ARMANMENTS]
  • Type 29: 120 mm Modified Low-Recoil Cannon - Equipped with a modified arm version of Gourai main weapon. This is a measure to respond to the balancing changes due to weight reduction so that it can be possible to perform the same bombardment. However, due to the specifications of the Jinrai is more of close combat, the arm frame supports the recoil at the time of the shooting, the aiming accuracy is lower than Gourai. The pilots tend not to use it in battle.
  • Laser Edge Tactical Knife - An enhanced type of AK-14T tactical knife. As the name"razor", the laser edge is a model that increases the cutting area by making the blade wavy and increases the aggressiveness as a knife.
  • AK-14T Tactical Knife - A melee weapon developed for Type 32 Gourai. Excellent balance between portability and attack power, used in many FAs.
  • Scythe / Axe Pick Spear - A spear-shaped weapon with a vibrating blade at the tip. Originally, the equipment used for engineer work such as clearing and base construction. It was modified for FA, and the blade has a fairly unique shape imitating a sickle or a pile. The high-frequency vibration produces a higher cutting force than ordinary blade weapons, but a unique sense of the blade requires a high sense of control. The blade unit can also be used independently.
  • Vibro Blade - A vibrating sword with a long blade. It was developed from the beginning as a device for FA using the Vybrog rave as a prototype, and as a result of being designed with a long sword as a model, it is easier to handle and the reach is greatly strengthened, achieving overall performance improvement.
