Ami-Ami Store Now Wants Your Toy in Single Shipment?

Not sure what's going on with Ami-Ami single shipment notice on some toys while I was browsing their website for a price. According to one YouTuber (below), their explanation was to avoid damaging the toys during the shipment. It doesn't really make sense to me, to be honest.

No matter, I already stop buying from them after the bad experience dealing with their customer support and a shipping issue last year. I was not really happy with their sky-high DHL pricing back then compared to HLJ, even Mandarake. I don't even understand why up to these days, Ami-Ami can't even afford to implement an estimated shipping quote system. The single shipment is a stupid move and in no way I am paying to ship out over one item.

Anyway, this is just my personal opinion. You should check out the video below for more information.

  1. I won't buy from AmiAmi either. The fact that they only quote shipping after committing to buy is lazy and hostile. I got a grumpy message from their support the last time I had to cancel an order. Completely put me off.

Unfortunately HLJ isn't an option for me either. Their shipping to Australia is crazy. I can get things shipped from Europe or China more cheaply than Japan.

    1. How come? you guys have access to EMS or Air shipping so the fee should be lower compare to Brunei only with DHL option. HLJ does offer discount in shipping from time to time, I usually take advantage of that deal to get lower price.
