FA MECHANIC - Type-Hector: Durandal

[OEM SPECIFICATION]

Cloud Century in 230, the first global convention Frame Arms Battle Complex (FABC) was held to renew the new ubiquitous energy technology by the "Conglomerate". Many participating companies were salvaging or redesigning the old FA to put it into this, but there was also a newly designed FA such as Shingen. The 'Type Hector' is also based on the design data and know-how of the existing FA, especially the JX-25 Ji-Dao, which was completed in the latter half of the old war and has abundant operational results.

It is a completely new designed FA for FABC with the concept of a machine that supports all areas with sufficient payload and mobility by integrating the elements of a land warfare machine. However, although the design was started at about the same time as Shingen, it was difficult to complete the actual machine since the manufacturer involved in the development had a different capital relationship with Congrad, who led the development of Shingen. It was decided to be late.

The first completed aircraft was named Durandal with a colour scheme based on white. To test each type of the main body, they prepared a pair of shooting and slashing integrated armament and shield to have standard functions, and through a dedicated movable skeleton so as not to significantly hinder the movement of each part equipped on the shoulder. In terms of design specifications, it is possible to make it even heavier, which will lead to the Joyeuse, which will be developed later as an actual battle type.

[ARMANMENTS]

• Railgun blade - Type Hector's armament is a combined weapon with an electromagnetic accelerating gun and blade equipment, following the concept of "all-areas". The electromagnetic acceleration gun is a set of batteries integrated with the grip and the barrel and equipped on the shoulder via a special skeleton. It can operate as a bladed weapon by removing the barrel from the battery. The battery capacity is FABC's regular, so there is no noteworthy performance because it matches the condition. It is designed to demonstrate long-range weapons with high power and penetration rate by replacing them with one used in actual battles.

[UNIQUE TYPES OF EQUIPMENT]

• Horn antenna - The head part of this machine, which was newly designed for Berry FABC, was designed to be a symbolic design like Shingen. It boasts high processing capability by increasing the size of the main body unit and optimizing the unit arrangement by adding external communication antennas.

• High Mobility Driving System - The drive device installed on the heel of the crossing is driven by a linear system. It is designed based on the reference to the 48-type grind roller so that it can adapt to various road surfaces while supporting the weight of the machine. With this equipment, not only can achieve high-speed running performance on the ground, but you can also make flight preparation and gliding at the time of landing.

• Extend Booster TH - An electrically propelled expansion booster was newly designed for this machine. It enables long-term operation of the machine as well as ground driving with the combination of a high mobility driving system. The basic form is to equip the left and right backs of two units, but it is designed to include the main body avionics so that the equipment can be disassembled and installed one by one in addition to relocation and expansion.
