Scalper Increase in Model Kit World

I have been reading the Twitter news lately of reporting an increased price in the model kit (Gunpla is the top) in Japan and, we all know this is the work of scalpers snatching up supplies because of the growing demand during the pandemic. Major Japanese stores started implementing anti-scalpers policies by removing the pieces from the runners to reduce the resell value in the market. That said, not all Kotobukiya model kits are affected at the moment except (for some) HMM ZOIDS.

As always, do get your model kits from the well-known online retail shops in Japan like Hobby Link Japan etc and check for the reissue news. Supporting your local toy shops is also encouraged if they can bring in a reasonable price for you.

*My Extend Arms 08 has arrived and will be reviewed after the Chinese Lunar New Year. I have to say this set is really good.
