First announced in 2014, the Mega Slash Edge is a sizeable blade-type weapon built from a separate part that can be used as a long sword (2x), short Ax (2x) and rifle. The clear blade parts that are cast with clear green plastic can be dissembled as well to form a standby mode.
There are three feature modes which you can configure to play with. An arrow mode, bow gun mode and blaster mode. But with some modifications, you may be able to create claw mode.
Do note that the only issue I encounter with Mega Slash Edge is that the rotating part plastic is easily worn out after a few plays and becomes loose. Since this is the first released version I am reviewing, Kotobukiya is reissuing Mega Slash Edge this month so hopefully, the issue will not be repeated.

This was one of the first MSG kits I ever bought. Looks so cool but yeah very unwieldy as time goes on. Hopefully a 2.0 version does come out and fix the handle issues
